How to Use Cabbage Juice for Gastritis

Gastritis is an inflammation of stomach lining. Stress, alcohol and certain medications like aspirin and other anti-inflammatory drugs are responsible for most cases of gastritis. 1. Chew Cabbage for Juice

This is the best way to consume cabbage juice.

What you need:

  • ½ cabbage medium size
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions:

  • Cut a medium sized cabbage into 2 pieces
  • Remove the stems
  • Chop into small pieces
  • Dress it with apple cider vinegar
  • Eat it as salad 30 minutes before lunch
  • Chew well so that the juice mixes with saliva to reach your stomach
  • Do it once daily until gastritis symptoms are completely gone.

 

2. Cabbage and Ginger Juice

Ginger adds some taste to cabbage juice as well as it also helps to heal gastritis.

What you need:

  • ½ cabbage medium size
  • 1 inch fresh ginger root

Instructions:

  • Cut cabbage into 2 pieces and remove the stems
  • Cut one half of the cabbage in small pieces which can be pushed into juice extractor. You can use a mixer blender but juice extractor works well
  • Extract juice of 1 inch of ginger root
  • Mix it with cabbage juice and drink it an hour before lunch
  • Do it daily until recovered from gastritis

3. Cabbage Juice and Coconut Water

Coconut water is also good for gastritis. Mixing with cabbage juice will make the taste of cabbage better and heal gastritis faster.

What you need:

  • ½ medium size cabbage
  • 1 green tender coconut

Instructions:

  • Extract juice of half cabbage of medium size in a juice extractor
  • Add freshly removed coconut water from a tender coconut
  • Mix well and drink one hour before lunch
  • Do it daily until gastritis is gone.

Other Tips and Precautions

If you get gastritis any time then it is acute gastritis. Never ignore it to turn chronic gastritis. Take following precautions to prevent and to get rid of gastritis fast.

  • Take light meals
  • Consume probiotics like organic yogurt and kefir
  • Eat only non-inflammatory foods
  • Reduce stress by meditation and other methods that you prefer
  • Avoid painkillers - all NSAIDs cause and worsen gastritis,
  • Add garlic to your meal or take garlic supplements
  • Avoid inflammatory foods like dairy, sugary, spicy and gluten
  • Give up alcohol for that period
